About this trip

Eleven days. Pacific surf. Northern snow.

Start on Vancouver Island, where surf lessons, rainforest walks and shared camp life turn a group of teenagers into a team. Then fly north to Whitehorse for a very different Canadian landscape: snow-covered country, northern culture and the possibility of seeing the aurora.

March 14–24, 2027 · Ages 13–18 · 14 places

March 14–19: six days of Salty Express through Parksville, Tofino and Ucluelet. March 20: travel from Vancouver to Whitehorse. March 20–24: five-day Yukon segment, including travel, returning to Vancouver on March 24.

Build confidence through trying something new, practise teamwork through everyday camp responsibilities, and make friendships through a shared adventure. Northern activities depend on conditions and availability; aurora sightings cannot be guaranteed.

C$3,598 + 5% GST. Deposit C$400 + GST. Return flights between Vancouver and Whitehorse and four nights of Yukon accommodation are included. Start at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal on March 14 at 10 AM. Final flight and pickup details will be provided before departure.

This is one combined trip. Please do not also book the separate Salty Express departure.
